The adult initial visit includes a detailed health history and review of systems, concern oriented naturopathic physical exam, in house urine/auricular/REBA/acugraph assessment if indicated, and a basic therapeutic plan will begin including nutrition and/or supplementation, and recommended testing, tbc at the second visit. Health is viewed as a journey, as such, the body heals in layers – like an onion!
The pediatric initial visit includes a detailed health history, complaint oriented physical exam and an individualized treatment plan.
The second visit we will review and continue your treatment plan. This may include tailored nutrition, lifestyle, diagnostic testing, acupuncture treatment and supplementation/remedy prescription. All subsequent visits are to allow your Naturopathic physician to follow-up with your progress and treatment plan. Each phase of treatment includes either one organ system or related concern. These can include the digestive system, liver and detoxification pathways, nervous system and anxiety, cardiovascular health and stress, and the endocrine system and hormones. These shorter consults can be done over the phone or in the office and are target one concern, such as: cold and flus, fevers, ear or sinus infections, travel prevention, back pain and urinary tract infections.
These visits can address deep seated chronic afflictions such as female hormonal disturbances, infertility, digestion, hypertension and disorders of metabolism. Individuals interested in maintaining a healthy base line of health, or as part of the fertility program, would benefit in weekly, bi-weekly or monthly acupuncture visits.
